Apple Cider Mimosa

Fall flavors shine in this versatile cocktail!

Ingredients

  • Fresh apple cider
  • Prosecco
  • 1/4 apple, finely chopped
  • Ground cinnamon, dash
  • 1 Star anise pod

Instructions

  • Wash an apple and cut 1/4 wedge out of it. Finely chop quarter wedge for garnish. Keep extra on hand for an additional glass.
  • Pour fresh apple cider in desired glass until half full. Top off with your favorite Prosecco. Add a small dash of cinnamon, if desired. Garnish drink with chopped fresh apples and one anise pod.

Notes

Modern Empty Nester Tip:
This can be a nonalcoholic mocktail by substituting sparkling water for the Prosecco!
